Where do you serve?
Castro Valley, Hayward, San Lorenzo, San Leandro, Oakland, Dublin, Pleasanton, Fremont and Union City in the East Bay. Boarding and daycare are at our place in Castro Valley; house sitting, drop-ins and walks are at your home.
What services and prices do you offer?
Overnight boarding from $60 per night (by size: $60 small/medium, $70 large, $80 extra-large). Daycare from $60 per day, 8 AM to 8 PM. House sitting $110 per night. Drop-in visits $43. Dog walks $43 for 30 minutes or $73 for 60 minutes. Each additional dog is 50% of the first dog's rate. Holiday dates add $10 per dog per night or day, and puppies under 1 year add $5 per night or day, for boarding and daycare. All prices are in US dollars.
How do I book?
Book online at pawpawpapa.com/book-an-appointment: choose the service and dates, add your dog's details and vaccination record (rabies, DHPP and bordetella), and pay at checkout. We confirm your drop-off and pick-up times by email within 24 hours. If we can't take your booking, you get a full refund.
How can I pay?
Credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay at checkout, or Zelle (415-619-4305) or Venmo (@paws-cuddle).
What is the cancellation policy?
Pet care bookings get a full refund if cancelled by 12 PM Pacific 3 days before the start date. Later cancellations are refunded 50% for the first 7 days and in full for the rest. See pawpawpapa.com/refund_returns.
Do you offer pet communication in Chinese?
Yes. Remote, photo-based pet communication sessions in Mandarin or Cantonese with a certified animal communicator, from US$60. Book at pawpawpapa.com/pet-communication (Traditional Chinese) or pawpawpapa.com/pet-communication-cn (Simplified Chinese). It does not replace veterinary care.

Before your first stay
What vaccines do you require?
Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. You can upload your dog’s vaccination record when you book.
Can we meet before the first stay?
Yes! A meet-and-greet is optional and free. We’ll meet you and your dog at our office at 2811 Castro Valley Blvd., Castro Valley. Text us at 415-619-4305 to set up a time.
What are your hours?
Daycare runs from 8 AM to 8 PM. After you book, we confirm your drop-off and pick-up times by email within 24 hours.
What does a typical day look like?
Breakfast around 7 AM and dinner around 5 PM, one to two walks a day, playtime together with the other dogs in our open area and backyard, plenty of rest, medication if needed, and photo updates so you can see how your pup is doing.
Where will my dog sleep? Do you use cages?
Dogs sleep in our living room and spend the day together in an open area, not in cages. If you’d like your dog crated, just let us know and we’re happy to do that.
What should I bring?
Your dog’s food, plus anything else your dog needs, such as medication.
